With Uganda’s music industry getting more profitable, socially acceptable and internationally recognized, a lot of Ugandans based abroad are making it appoint to rightly use their diverse abilities to feed the increasing admirers of Ugandan music. In this new segment that will always run once a week on HiPipo.com, we shall try our best to always collect relevant data on a particular musician/group based abroad and analyze their strengths and weaknesses.

 

To Begin with this week will be Uganda’s new Luga-flow luminary Bigg Mo aka Big Money.As earlier reported, Bigg Mo appeared on Uganda’s music scene early this year with his Monster hit Ntoli (Snap).Ntoli was recorded by Uganda’s celebrated audio producer Renix of D-Records and Video shot by Jahlive Production.Eventhough Ntoli was Bigg Mo’s debut song, it nevertheless went on to top Radio and Television charts plus becoming a club banger and thus introduced the later as the new Luga-flow Mc to beat.

 

Unlike many guys who force rapping because it’s their hobby, Bigg Mo does Luga-flow as a talent. Based in Boston America, Bigg Mo has got a lot of new projects he is working on. A new video for his comical song Bituli Bingi is being worked on by Jahlive production and anytime from now, you will be able to watch it either on this same website or in your living rooms. He also has a number of new audio singles such as Superstar, Bukyankalane, Love Ezita and Omutefu featuring PSsozi.

 

Weak Link; just like most of Ugandan Musicians based abroad, Bigg Mo also failed to fully get directly involved in marketing his Ntoli hit. Party goers always looked out for Bigg Mo’s performance at various concerts but in vain. This now met that an imposter could go and perform Ntoli claiming that he was Bigg Mo and they could easily go away with it. That’s it for now.
